V0.1.1 post-jam update


Thanks to the generous feedback, I have updated the game to fix some of its rough edges.

Here's a list of what's new in this release.

Changelog 30/05/2025 v0.1.1 post-jam

  • fixed a bug where being caught in an ice block would softlock the game. It now kills the player with a freezing animation.
  • improved the wall slide controls: it's not necessary to hold the direction of the wall anymore. Holding jump after attaching will suffice.
  • spike hitboxes have been slightly adjusted (they are easier now)
  • creatures have less health
  • a skippable mission briefing will introduce the game goals
  • input can now be remapped in settings
  • equipment unlocks UI is now smaller and transparent
  • the world has been slightly redesigned to improve the difficulty curve
  • new "rooms" have been added
  • 3 new samples to collect have been added (a total of 13 now)
  • death counter added
  • it's now possible to do a "pacifist run", which will be tracked in the game's ending

Many thanks to all the kind people who played the game and provided very valuable feedback. I hope you will enjoy the updated version.
